Early Head Start

Early Head Start programs serve infants, toddlers, and pregnant women and their families who have incomes below the federal poverty level. Early Head Start programs were established in recognition of the mounting evidence that the earliest years matter a great deal to a child’s growth and development.
Early Head Start programs provide early, individualized child development and parent education services to low-income families. It enables parents to be better caregivers and teachers to their children and helps them meet their own goals, including economic independence. There is an appropriate mix of home visits, experiences at the Early Head Start centers, and other settings such as family or center-based child care. The program provides early learning opportunities for infants and toddlers with or without disabilities to grow and develop in a nurturing and inclusive setting.
Early Head Start connects families with other service providers at the local level to ensure that a comprehensive array of health, nutrition, and other services are provided to the families.

Head Start

Head Start is a nationally recognized nonprofit assisting income-eligible families with core areas of childhood development and family services. At no cost to you, we will provide access to resources to help your child thrive in the classroom and life. This program provides:

• Language and Literacy
• Math, Science, and Social Awareness
• Health, Nutrition & Physical Development
• Special Education Services (IEP and IFSP)
• Research-based Curriculum and Assessments

On My Way PreK

If your family qualifies for the Office of Early Childhood and Out of School Learning program called On My Way Pre-K, to help prepare your child for kindergarten, there are many benefits for your family and your child:

1. Only the highest quality Paths To Quality ^TM Level 3 and Level 4 programs are eligible to accept your OMWPK voucher and can help prepare your 4-year-old to be ready for kindergarten.
2. All OMWPK vouchers are full-time/full Pre-K year so your child can receive the time they need to prepare for kindergarten even if you work or go to school part-time.
3. If eligible, your family may receive additional weeks prior to the start of the OMWPK year or during the summer following the OMWPK year.
4. OMWPK programs are required to assess your child's progress during the Pre-K and will keep you informed along the way.
5. Family co-pays are waived during the Pre-K year.

After School Care

Our after-school program provides students with a safe and supervised environment where they engage in various educational, recreational, and social activities. This program serves as an extension of the school day, offering additional opportunities for learning, Social and Emotional Development, life skill development, enrichment activities, and Nutritional support.
